Synthetic Rubber Baling Press

The Synthetic Rubber Baling Press is PCL's flagship product and has been supplied all over the world to nearly all the major blue chip Petrochemical Companies.

The units are available in 100/120/150/200 and 300 tonne versions being suitable for producing bales of rubber of all grades (BR, NDR, SBR, SSBR, PBR, EPDM, Butyl, Halobutyl and Recycled Rubber) in various sizes to suit the clients requirements and general weights of 20 to 35 kg.

The baler can also be designed to allow bale dimension changes to be made easily and the press overall dimensions can also be modified if the client has restrictions such has height in an existing building.

Ancillary equipment such as electronic weighscales, fully linked to the balers via moving stainless steel chutes which prevent crumb loss and increase bale weight accuracy, can be added depending on the clients preference.

The Resistance Head is offered as a spring loaded wedge type, 2 position or 3 position parallel types, the latter having built in chutes.

The hydraulic power unit has been developed to give fast speed at low pressure and on reaching the required baling pressure hold this pressure consistently during the dwell or consolidation time at low motor load.

The electrical control has also been developed with the use of PLC's of most major suppliers which can have built in diagnostics, data transfer to a central control and the utilisation of a screen at the control panel which can display production rates, cycle times, alarms and many more features.

Linear transducers are also incorporated into the hydraulic cylinders to allow accurate positional control and smoother operation.
