Rail Straightening Presses

Planters Clayton manufacture a range of static and mobile rail straighteners, suitable for use in conjunction with butt welding plant producing rails of up to 366m.

—Combined vertical and horizontal pressing to 200/100 Tonnes respectively (can be upgraded if necessary)

—Mobile press can be power driven on rails to point where straightening is required

—Press table fitted with movable straightening blocks

—Spring loaded roller assemblies to deflect under load

—Integral high speed hydraulic pump unit

—Proportional control on pressing movement to facilitate fast approach and reduced speed pressing.

—Individual pressure gauges for each ram

—Formers can also be supplied.
